Hotel Villa Brinkly is located on the attractive beach road which winds along the coastline from Copenhagen to Ellsinore. Midst of the old fishing harbours in Espergaerde and Snekkersten, you find the worthy old style wooden building Villa Brinkly.
With only a stone's throw from the beach and the famous Egebaeksvang forest in the backyard, we can offer an almost unique experience of nature.
In the spring of 2006 Anette Buch Petersen and Erik Steen acquired the romantic small hotel with only eight rooms. Erik is the man with the many trades - from the inventor, handy-man, driver or 1 Hotel “Boy” when he serves breakfast in the cosy dinning room. Erik has lived 10 years in Canada, where he worked in a position as a product developer in the fibreglass industry.
In the year 2007 the catering company
go 'appetite moved from Frederiksberg to a new kitchen at Hotel Villa Brinkly. Since that also a wonderful courtyard is added with access to the forest as well as refreshing the hotel in general. Everything is kept in our cosy spirit.
Anette has her roots in Jutland and is the head of the catering firm go'apPetite.
She is educated chef and waiter from the prestigious Restaurant Gl. Aabyhoej, then owned by Birthe Sandager and Arne Fusager who now runs a cooking school in southern France.

Rich in history
Villa Brinkly was built to house the many "country vacationers” from Copenhagen.
In 1931 it was bequeathed to Prince Valdemar and Princess Marie's Charity Fund.
The Fund was intended to "provide seafarers and their widows" a leisure holiday. 40 years later it emerged as Brinkly guesthouse open to the public.
With Hotel Villa Brinkly history you will be put back to 1873. More on this in our brochure Brinkly and neighbourhood history. Find link on the front page. In 1995, it was total renovated by the owners at the time and converted to the old magnificent Hotel Villa Brinkly
